VSN Update, 04/06/2020

Have not been able to work on this as much as I had hoped, but theres still a lot of time for improvement. Let me know what you think! I need to make the lighthouse either blend in or stand out more, and I am open to suggestions for adding new elements. I composited the image in the original post out of 7 different landscape photos, and I have edited and improved the masks since then, let me know if there are any problem areas that could be blended better.

Final Project 04/22/2020

OK so I think I am going to go with my branding idea. Here are some ideas. I made my instagram in 2017 so the same isn't the most professional (jesssicarrot, a nickname from HS). I could change it to something like ledrowski_designs or I could go with jessicaret (caret= ^ ) which could reference typography or design in general. I've been looking at the rebrand of &Walsh, and how it focus in on the ampersand, so I could try something like that. &Walsh: (I really love how she chose to brand her business, just some inspiration.) Sketches for Visual Sequential Narrative

I was a little unsure of where I wanted to take my idea of a journey, and was thinking of changing it. I did some sketches and wrote down my thoughts as I did so, and now I think I have a better idea of the story I am trying to tell. As we go through life, we usually have a primary goal. However, we have no idea how or if we will be able to make it there. I was to use the imagery of a tiny person walking towards a vast impossible landscape to represent that journey. My original image did not really tell a story, so this person needs a visual representation of their end goal. I am thinking some form of tower or lighthouse. I also would like to use the landscape I put together to show time in some way. I could use the season, or the day/night cycle to show this. (or weather as well).
